    Check out those guns! Emily Hobbs, a sophomore sprinter/soccer player from The Linsly School, travels 60 minutes one way to get her lift on. The last six weeks have been an eye-opening  experience for Emily, and she’s making some remarkable gains in strength, mobility, and respect for training hard.     As another decade comes to a close, the end of 2009 marks 10 full years I’ve been a strength, speed, and conditioning coach. There’s been ups and downs, and many “AH-HA” moments.     Steven R. Covey says to “Seek first to understand before being understood”. I’ve embarrassed myself more than once by derailing fitness programs before I knew all the details. Not anymore.
